A massive wave of new developments has hit Dubai with more than a dozen new resorts and outrageous developments opening over the next two years.
Viceroy Hotel Group has recently announced their stunning Viceroy Palm Jumeirah Dubai set to open this Spring.
The destination is located beachfront on the world’s largest man-made island Palm Jumeirah, overlooking the Arabian Gulf. The resort will feature 477 luxury guest rooms and suites with spectacular architecture and innovative design headed by Yabu Pushelberg and NAO Taniyama and Associates.
The resort is expected to launch on March 31st and will become the second Viceroy hotel in the UAE and the first in Dubai.
The beach front hotel is designed with a giant open space in the middle with 16 floors, along with numerous private residences. The ultimate choice for travelers is the massive penthouse with terrace on the 15th floor with its own plunge pools and two bars.
The hotel includes 221 private signature residences located in the identical wings on either side of the main hotel building. The top levels will feature four spectacular penthouses. There are also spacious 4-bedroom beach villas with direct access to a private beach.
The resort includes 10 restaurants including a beach club, patisserie, several cafes, and many dining options including Italian Michelin starred Chef Antonio Mellino and his Quattro Passi Restaurant
Amenities include three outdoor pools and 650 feet of beach front. The large spa and hamman will include 14 treatment rooms including several open air options.

Adding to Viceroy’s development in the area will be the Viceroy Dubai in Jumeirah Village with its green designed 60 story tower and set to open in 2018. The property will have 247 hotel rooms and suites, as well as 221 one and two-bed apartments and 33 four-bed apartments with private pools.
This will be the world’s first rotating design hotel with green landscaping and deep soil beds on each floor, all 888 feet above sea level.
