If a development is going to be named after the highest quality of wearable gold then the accommodations need to be up to the mark.

Forum Group’s XXII Carat villas – 22 in roman numerals – on Palm Jumeirah aim to deliver just that.

Among the highlights of the seven bedroom and multi-storeyed residences are exclusive beach front access, private pools and landscaped gardens, with some even offering office and library spaces indoors. The developers, Forum Group, have also gone as far as equipping the villas with innovative technology such as windows fitted with noise and dust reduction systems, state of the art Otis Gen2 lifts with most electrical fittings by luxury Spanish design outlet FEDE.

However, it’s the bathrooms that are the centrepiece of the living experience.

The bathtubs, for instance, by Italian home lifestyle brand Baldi, are worth a million dollars and crafted out of a single piece of rock crystal.

The rest of the luxe layout designed by Devon&Devon, is appointed with floors and walls finished with Antolini marble and fittings by French design firm Christal et Bronze.

Only 22 villas, divided into categories called Sapphire, Ruby, Emerald, are available for sale in the development. Plot sizes range from 15,600 square feet to 28,400 square feet.
